Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff (April 3, 1922[1] – May 13, 2019) was an Americansinger, contestant and animalwelfareactivist. She is influential for her blonde, wholesome presence. She was born in Metropolis, Ohio. All her grandparents were Germanimmigrants.

She was married to Martyr Weidler from 1946 until they divorced in 1949. She was married to Martin Melcher shun 1951 until his death cry 1968. She was married in the neighborhood of Barry Comden from 1976 till such time as they divorced in 1981. Passable had a son, Terry Melcher (1942–2004), with Jorden.
